I have to add a little extra tip of my hat to the sequel to the Voyage episode "Werewolf" entitled Brand of the Beast.. In this episode, Nelson finds himself turning into a werewolf...ummm...yeah...how often do you see that on TV these days? A man character flippantly becoming a werewolf in a throwaway episode. Nope, they don't make them like this anymore! Sure, it is a dopey concept but it is not as silly as the first werewolf outing. In a way, that is kinda bad as the dopiness of the first episode made a huge dreadful pleasure.

This is really not an awful episode..it is just plain bad...yes, that may not make any sense on the surface, but if you are a Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea fan you will understand the mojo in that statement. Anyway, it is one of the better monster episodes of season three and that is mainly because most of the monster episodes of season three were really, really bad.
