This is a future classic. More accurately, it is a present classic because it is on TV right now as I type. But it is old because it is the second time I've seen it as it aired last year. But, there are those parts that I missed here and there so SOME of it is new.

What it is is VH-1's amazing documentary, THE DRUG YEARS. (They's showing clips of old CHEECH AND CHONG films. Funny stuff folks) What the DRUG YEARS is, is a brilliant look at the history of America's drug culture of circa 1965 - 1990. It is pretty amazing to look at this lost subculture of another era because it is so shocking how pop culture and drugs were so intertwined. While there is still a booming drug subculture in the USA today, nothing compares with the strangeness of the way they were so interconnected in prior decades. It is also amazing to watch how it all come apart and the drug subculture collapsed in the "Just Say No" era of the 1980's.
